Antique Gold Earrings

15ct Gold Tested

Circa 1860

These exquisite early Victorian earrings, dating to circa 1860, are a beautiful example of mid-19th century craftsmanship and symbolism. Crafted in rich 15ct yellow gold, they feature elegant drop forms adorned with intricate granulation and delicate beadwork, reflecting the refined artistry of the period.

At the centre of each earring sits a luminous seed pearl, set within a finely detailed star motif highlighted by bright turquoise enamel. The celestial design—so popular in the Victorian era—symbolises guidance, love, and eternity, adding a layer of romantic meaning to these already captivating pieces. The pendulum drop adds movement and flair!

The earrings are fitted with new classic ear wire fittings, consistent with the period, offering both authenticity and comfortable wear. Their warm gold tones contrast beautifully with the enamel and pearls, creating a timeless and versatile look.

Perfect for collectors of antique jewellery or anyone seeking a unique heirloom piece, these earrings carry over 160 years of history and charm.

The earrings measure approximately 68mm in length and 19.7mm in width.

All of our items are either Antique, Vintage or Preloved. They are in used condition and may show some signs of age-related wear, light surface scratches or tarnish.
