Antique Adore Ring

18ct Yellow Gold

Hallmarked Birmingham 1871

A quintessential piece of Victorian sentimental jewellery, this authentic 18ct yellow gold acrostic ring spells out the secret romantic message "ADORE" using the first letter of each carefully set gemstone:

Amethyst (deep purple)

Diamond (sparkling antique cut)

Opal (luminous cabochon with subtle play-of-colour)

Ruby (rich magenta-red)

Emerald (vibrant green)

Arranged horizontally across a carved boat-style gallery, the five primary gems are flanked by tiny rose-cut diamond accents nestled in the carved scrollwork. The ring features wide, decorative chased shoulders engraved with floral and leaf motifs tapering into a smooth, comfortable band. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1871, this ring represents high-Victorian craftsmanship at its most romantic.

The face of the ring measures approximately 17.9mm in width and 5.7mm in height, and the width of the band measures 2mm
