£800.00

Antique Suffragette Ring

9ct Yellow Gold

Hallmarked Chester 1909

Makers Mark P & S

An evocative and collectible piece of British history, this original Edwardian Suffragette ring was hallmarked at the revered (and long-closed) Chester Assay Office in 1909.

Designed in an elegant low-profile elongated boat / navette plaque, crafted from warm 9ct yellow gold with distinctive pierced circular under-gallery detailing. The face showcases the iconic tricolor symbolism closely associated with the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU) movement:

Purple (Amethyst): Signifying dignity and loyalty

White (Diamonds): Signifying purity

Green (Peridot): Signifying hope

A rich, vibrant oval-cut amethyst commands the center, flanked by two bright lime-green peridots and nestled among shimmering natural antique-cut diamonds.

The perfect addition to your jewellery or suffragette collection.

The face of the ring measures approximately 9.8mm in height and the band is 3.3mm in width.
