A striking Art Deco amethyst ring, beautifully crafted with a warm 14ct yellow gold band and platinum-set top.
At its centre sits a magnificent deep violet amethyst, cut into a substantial geometric form that perfectly captures the bold, architectural aesthetic of the Art Deco period. The stone has beautiful clarity and flashes of lilac and purple as it catches the light.
The platinum setting is particularly special, featuring intricate linear detailing and sculptural, fan-like shoulders surrounding the amethyst. The contrasting platinum and yellow gold create a wonderful two-tone effect, while the highly detailed workmanship gives the ring a distinctly elegant yet dramatic character.
