A striking and sophisticated original Edwardian ring, crafted in platinum and centred around a richly coloured natural sapphire.
The focal point of this piece is a deep blue oval-cut sapphire, displaying beautiful inky tones with flashes of royal blue in the light. Surrounding the centre stone is an intricate geometric halo of old-cut diamonds, each individually set within finely detailed milgrain settings—a hallmark of true Edwardian craftsmanship.
The openwork design and delicate engraving create a lace-like effect, giving the ring an elegant yet bold presence on the hand. The contrast between the dark, velvety sapphire and the bright sparkle of the antique diamonds makes this piece truly captivating.
The face of the ring measures approximately 15mm in height and 14.2mm in width. The sapphire measures approximately 9mm in height and 8mm in width.
