This stunning antique 15ct yellow gold necklace is a fine example of Edwardian craftsmanship, dating back to the early 1910s.
The necklace features a delicate rope chain that leads to a charming floral centrepiece, adorned with natural seed pearls and a single diamond arranged in an elegant floral motif, complemented by leaf-like accents. Beneath the central flower, a discreet hook is thoughtfully designed for the addition of a small drop pendant or gemstone, making it perfect for personalising the piece or enhancing it for special occasions.
Finished with a rectangular barrel and torpedo clasp, this classic and secure fastening is typical of the period. There is also a 9ct safety chain for extra security. The necklace rests gracefully on the collarbone, serving as a beautiful statement of understated antique luxury.
The centrepiece measures approximately 14.7mm in height and 108mm in width, the total length measures approximately 14 3/4 inches, and the chain is 1.7mm in width.
