Antique Onyx Ring

Circa 1920s
This bold cocktail ring features a large circular, matte-finish onyx with an old-cut diamond at its centre. The central diamond is approxiamtely 0.40 carat and has been graded G in colour and VS in clarity. Around the outside of the onyx is a further halo of old-cut diamonds, totalling 0.72 carats, matching the central stone in quality. All the stones have been set into platinum. The 18-carat yellow gold gallery and band have been elaborately carved with floral and scroll designs that truly set this Art Deco ring apart.
