Antique 18ct Gold Albertina Bracelet: Edwardian Fox Tail Chain with Enamel Slider
Antique Albertina Bracelet
18ct Gold French Stamped
Circa 1910
A rare and romantic survivor of the antique era, this exquisite 18ct gold Albertina bracelet drapes the wrist in fluid, triple-strand foxtail chains. Originally crafted to suspend pocket watches and fobs, antique Albertinas are among the most sought-after collector pieces when worn as standalone heirloom bracelets.
At its center sits a barrel-shaped slider bead chased with a delicate, bright yellow gold floral motif and fine black (slightly rubbed) enamel detailing. The contrast between the warm, rich tone of the foxtail strands, the bright floral detailing, and the soft antique patina gives this piece exceptional visual depth.
The bracelet is completed by a classic French-hallmarked dog clip/swivel clasp, providing both authentic historical charm and a secure closure. It wears comfortably on its own as a statement, paired alongside an antique gold bangle stack or worn as an antique chain extender.
The bracelet measures approximately 8 Inches in length and 4mm in width. The gold bead measure approximately 12.9mm in length and 9.1mm in width.
Weight 10.1g
