A striking and beautifully detailed Edwardian-era star pendant and brooch, crafted in solid 18ct gold and stamped accordingly. Dating to the early 1900s, this piece is a wonderful example of the era’s wonderful craftsmanship.
A six-pointed star design, the piece is richly set with graduated natural seed pearls, arranged in raised clusters that give depth and sparkle from every angle. The openwork gold framework and radiant starburst form create a dramatic yet elegant silhouette — equally eye-catching worn as a pendant or as a brooch.
The pendant features a detachable bail, allowing it to be worn on a chain or removed entirely when worn as a brooch, offering the versatility highly sought after in antique jewellery.
The star measures approximately 34.1mm in height when worn as a pendant and 24mm when worn as a brooch, the width measures 24.3mm
