Vintage 18ct Gold & Platinum, Square Shaped Diamond Cluster Ring
Vintage Diamond Ring
18ct Yellow Gold & Platinum
Hallmarked Birmingham 1960
Maker's Mark S & D
Evoking the graceful symmetry of the Edwardian era, this mid-century ring features a structured square face designed to maximise sparkle. At its centre, sparkling natural diamonds are secured within an intricate platinum illusion plate—a classic technique featuring scalloped, mirror-bright metalwork that visually amplifies the size and fire of each diamond.
The cool platinum head sits atop a rich, polished 18ct yellow gold shank, creating a timeless two-tone contrast. Elevated with subtle pierced gallery work and shoulders that taper cleanly toward the finger, it makes an exceptional engagement ring, anniversary gift, or statement dress ring. The inside of the band is stamped with clear British hallmarks for Birmingham, 1960.
The face of the ring measures approximately 8.3mm x 8.3mm, and the width of the band is 1.5mm
