Antique 18ct Yellow Gold, Natural Sapphire & Diamond Marquise Ring, Birmingham 1915
Antique Sapphire Marquise Ring
18ct Gold
Hallmarked Birmingham 1915
A breathtaking example of late Edwardian elegance, this antique navette ring is crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold and dates to 1915. Elegant and elongated, the ring features an eye-catching marquise plaque centred with three pale blue natural sapphires arranged vertically down the middle.
Framing the rich blue stones is an intricate halo of sparkling natural diamonds that accentuate the navette's sharp, graceful curves. The gallery leads seamlessly into delicate split shoulders on an 18ct gold shank, offering a flattering, finger-lengthening profile when worn. The interior of the band is struck with clear, crisp English hallmarks from the historic Birmingham Assay Office, dated 1915.
The face of the ring measures approximately 19mm in height and 7.9mm in width.
