Antique Amethyst Necklace

An exquisite and elegant Edwardian era necklace, beautifully crafted in 9ct rose gold and set with glowing violet amethysts and natural seed pearls. Dating to the early 20th century, this piece perfectly captures the refined romance and delicate workmanship of the Edwardian period.
The central pendant features an intricate openwork design with graceful scrolling motifs, set with a rich oval-cut amethyst at the centre, flanked by additional amethysts and accented throughout with lustrous natural seed pearls. A further amethyst drop suspends below, adding gentle movement and a touch of drama.
The pendant is suspended from a fine trace link chain, which complements the lightness and femininity of the design without overpowering it. The warm tone of the rose gold pairs beautifully with the soft pearls and vibrant purple stones.
The pendant measures approximately 37.3 in length and 42.7mm in width. The necklace measures 16 inches in total length, and the chain is 0.7mm in thickness.
