Antique Book Chain Necklace
9ct Rose Gold Stamped

A beautiful and highly wearable Victorian 9ct rose gold book chain necklace, dating from the late 19th century.
The necklace is formed from elegant articulated book-style links, each with a softly scalloped edge that catches the light beautifully. The warm rose gold has developed a lovely antique patina, giving the piece the character and charm you would expect from genuine Victorian jewellery.
The flexible construction allows the necklace to sit beautifully around the neckline, while the substantial book links give it a wonderful presence without feeling overly heavy. Finished with its original-style circular ring clasp and integral fittings, adding to its authentic antique character.
The necklace is stamped for 9ct gold.
A timeless piece of Victorian jewellery that can be worn beautifully on its own or layered with other antique chains. It would also make an excellent foundation for a pendant or antique locket.
The chain measures approximately 17 1/2 inches in length and 8mm in width.
