Antique 15ct Rose Gold, Edwardian Peridot, Amethyst & Pearl Suffragette Bracelet
Antique Suffragette Bangle
15ct Rose Gold Tested
Circa 1910
A beautiful and highly collectible Edwardian-era suffragette bracelet, crafted in 15ct rose gold and set with a charming combination of cabochon amethysts, peridots and natural seed pearls.
The bracelet beautifully incorporates the iconic suffragette colours of purple, green and white — traditionally represented by amethyst, peridot and pearls. These colours became strongly associated with the British women’s suffrage movement in the early 20th century, making pieces such as this particularly evocative examples of Edwardian jewellery.
One of the most appealing features is the expanding link construction, allowing the bracelet to flex and expand to comfortably accommodate a variation of wrist sizes. It is an exceptionally wearable design for an antique bracelet.
The piece is stamped “15ct”, confirming the gold fineness, and is also stamped “PATENT” and “DILL”.
A gorgeous addition to an antique jewellery collection and a particularly lovely piece for anyone drawn to suffragette jewellery and the history of the women’s movement.
The width of the bracelet measures approximately 6.2mm and the size is flexible.
Weight 17.3g
