A charming example of Edwardian artistry, this openwork pendant dates to circa 1910 and is crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold.
The delicate frame features sinuous, graceful wirework arching downward into leaves and blossoming floral motifs. Centered within the gallery is an oval-cut natural purple amethyst set in a fine collet mount, balanced by an articulated, collet-set lime-green peridot drop that sways gently at the base.
The complementary purple and green gemstones evoke the beloved palette of the Edwardian era and the Suffragette movement (Give Women Votes — Green, White, Violet). Suspended from a tapered gold bail, this feminine piece layers effortlessly on an antique gold chain or wears beautifully as a standalone everyday heirloom.
The pendant measures approximately 48mm in length and the width is 23.8mm.
