Antique Peridot Pendant
9ct Yellow Gold Stamped
Circa 1900
A breathtaking original Edwardian piece showcasing fine antique craftsmanship and romantic botanical design. Set in warm 9ct yellow gold, this dramatic pendant features a luminous oval-cut natural peridot at its center, haloed by delicate, creamy seed pearls.
Radiant spoke-like arms extend outward into an intricate starburst—reminiscent of an open flower or a winter snowflake—each accented with split seed-pearl leaves and crowned with vivid, faceted round peridots.
The tapered bail at the top echoes the floral motif, set with two graduated seed pearls for an exquisite drop on your favorite chain.
The pendant measures approximately 44.7mm in length, including the bail. The width is 32.4mm, the centre stone is approximately 6.9mm in height and 5mm in width (within its setting). The outer peridots are approximately 3.5mm in diameter each.
