Antique Diamond Drop Earrings
18ct Gold & Platinum Tested

A stunning pair of original Edwardian earrings, beautifully crafted in 18ct yellow gold and platinum and dating to circa 1910.
Each elegant articulated drop is centred with a rich square-cut blue sapphire, followed by a delicate succession of natural antique-cut diamonds, combining marquise and round forms to create a wonderfully graceful, cascading design. The drops are finished with a beautiful diamond-set circular pendant, which catches the light beautifully as they move- diamonds are approximately 0.50 carats each.
The earrings are fitted with hinged backs, making them secure and comfortable to wear, while the combination of warm yellow gold and cool platinum is quintessentially Edwardian.
With their beautiful sapphire accents and antique provenance, these would make the most romantic “something old” and “something blue” for a wedding day.
They would look equally beautiful worn beyond the wedding day and make a wonderful addition to any antique jewellery collection.
The earrings measure approximately 33mm in length and 5.3mm in width at their widest point.
