£2,500.00

Antique Diamond Drop Earrings

18ct Gold & Platinum Tested

Circa 1910

A refined and elegant pair of authentic Edwardian sapphire and diamond drop earrings, dating to the early 20th century. Beautifully crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum-topped settings, these earrings display the light, airy grace that defines Edwardian jewellery at its finest.

Each earring showcases a slender articulated bar adorned with calibrated sapphires and old-cut diamonds, leading to an ornate openwork drop. The lower section features intricate detailing with scrolling foliate motifs and millegrain-set diamonds, highlighted by a central suspended diamond that catches the light beautifully. The cool platinum settings enhance the brilliance of the diamonds, while the sapphires provide a rich contrast in colour.

Fitted with the original gold posts and screw-back fittings, these earrings ensure both security and comfort. They are perfect for special occasions and serve as a rare and timeless example of true Edwardian craftsmanship—a stunning addition to any antique jewellery collection.

The earrings measure approximately 41.8mm in length and 18.9mm in width at their widest point.

All of our items are either Antique, Vintage or Preloved. They are in used condition and may show some signs of age-related wear, light surface scratches or tarnish.

All of our items have been hand-selected by us and carefully checked over by our specialist jeweller.

They are original one-off pieces, so although we may source similar items, we rarely find two identical pieces, making your purchase truly unique. All gemstones are natural stones unless otherwise stated.
