A circular openwork cluster set in rose gold and silver, centring a round-cut synthetic ruby within a radiating surround of old-cut diamonds in foliate formation, bordered by alternating synthetic rubies and diamonds. A striking mid-Victorian jewel combining romantic symbolism with early synthetic innovation.
