Antique Book Chain Necklace & Locket

Elegant circa 1900 solid silver locket on its original Victorian book‑chain necklace. The chain is formed of bold, articulated links with raised detailing, giving it the classic sculptural look associated with late‑19th‑century design.
The large oval locket features beautifully engraved trailing ivy on the front, an enduring Victorian symbol of fidelity, connection, and lasting affection. The reverse is smooth and plain.
The chain measures approximately 16 inches in length and 10mm in width. The locket measures approximately 45mm in height, 35mm in width, 60mm including loop
