Art Nouveau pendant by Murrle Bennett in 9ct gold, set with two iridescent mother of pearl. The openwork frame shows the maker’s signature flowing foliate lines, with a smaller articulated drop below for added movement. Clean goldwork, secure settings, and a warm original patina.
Murrle Bennett & Co. was an Anglo‑German jewellery firm active from 1884 to 1916, known for bringing Jugendstil (German Art Nouveau) and Arts & Crafts design into the British market. Their work is now highly collectible for its distinctive flowing lines, refined goldwork, and collaborations with leading designers.
The pendant measures approximately 40mm in length including loop and 20mm in width.
