Silver Hallmarked Chester 1910
A Charles Horner silver flying‑scarab brooch, hallmarked Chester, 1910, modelled with the distinctive Art Nouveau–Egyptian Revival crossover that defined Horner’s early‑20th‑century output. The stylised scarab form is worked in solid silver, the outstretched wings filled with vibrant blue‑to‑green plique‑à‑jour–style enamel, graduating in tone to create a luminous, wing‑like translucency.
The Brooch measures approximately 13mm in height and 28mm in width.
