Antique Pendant Necklace
9ct Gold Stamped
Circa 1910
A beautifully made Edwardian necklace, crafted in warm 9ct gold and dating to around 1910. The pendant features an elegant openwork geometric frame , two interlocking squares forming a soft diamond shape, typical of the light, airy goldwork of the period.
At the centre sits a finely detailed foliate motif, set with bright blue sapphires and tiny seed pearls that add subtle lustre. A single sapphire drop suspends from the base, giving the piece graceful movement when worn.
The necklace combines the Edwardian love of delicate lines with the richness of 9ct gold and the cool contrast of blue and white stones, making it a refined and wearable antique.
The necklace measures 16 3/4 inches in length and 1.8mm in width. Drop measures approx 54mm
The pendant measures approximately 35mm x 28mm
