Antique Garnet Pendant
9ct Gold Stamped on bail
Circa 1910
An openwork Edwardian pendant crafted in 9ct gold, formed as a double circular frame with finely pierced foliate detailing. The outer and inner rings are set with alternating gold leaf motifs, giving the piece its characteristic lightness and movement typical of early‑20th‑century design.
At the centre sits a round claw set garnet, its deep wine‑red tone providing a strong focal point. An additional round garnet drops from the lower edge of the frame, adding vertical balance and a subtle sense of articulation.
The pendant measures approximately 40mm in height including loop and 24mm in width.
