An Edwardian peridot and seed pearl necklace

The design centres on an oval peridot of bright, lively green, framed by delicate gold scrollwork and embellished with seed pearls. A second, smaller oval peridot is suspended below as a drop, adding movement and balance.
The piece is set throughout with a total of forty‑one seed pearls, graduating in size and arranged to accentuate the flowing, feminine lines typical of the period. The necklace is completed with its original 9ct gold chain and an integrated bow‑form surmount, creating a harmonious, elegant silhouette characteristic of turn‑of‑the‑century jewellery.
The pendant drop measures approximately 64mm in length and 34mm in width, the length of the necklace measures 16 inches and the width is 1mm.
All of our items are either Antique, Vintage or Preloved. They are in used condition and may show some signs of age-related wear, light surface scratches or tarnish.
All of our items have been hand-selected by us and carefully checked over by our specialist jeweller.
They are original one-off pieces, so although we may source similar items, we rarely find two identical pieces, making your purchase truly unique. All gemstones are natural stones unless otherwise stated.
