9ct Gold Back & Front Stamped
A circa 1920 gold with tint of rose back‑and‑front locket featuring a beautifully engraved swallow in flight above a floral spray. The front is richly detailed with soft, flowing lines typical of early 20th‑century sentimental jewellery, symbolising love, hope, and safe return. The reverse is plain.
The locket measures approximately 32mm in height including loop and 19mm in width 5mm depth

The gold front and back are applied to a base metal frame or sometimes sterling silver.
The supporting frame of the locket and hinge are base metal.
