Antique Gold Locket
9ct Gold Back & Front Stamped
Circa 1910
Edwardian 9ct gold back‑and‑front locket, decorated with finely engraved foliate and scrollwork.
The front shows a raised shield cartouche framed by crisp scrolling and floral engraving, all enclosed within a beaded circular border. The reverse carries the same engraved patterning but without the shield, giving a clean, uninterrupted decorative surface while retaining the same rhythm of curves and flourishes.
The locket opens to its original interior with frames for photographs or keepsakes. A classic, wearable Edwardian piece with balanced ornament and the practical lightness typical of back‑and‑front construction.
The locket measures approximately 26mm in diameter. Height including loop approximately 34mm
