Circa 1900
Antique pendant with a small circular working compass set beneath a clear glass cover. The bezel is smooth and rounded.
The reverse has fine hand engraving, adding a personal, sentimental touch characteristic of circa‑1900 keepsake jewellery. Compact, functional, and elegant, it wears beautifully as both a charm and a symbolic token of guidance.
The compass measures approximately 18mm in diameter, 4mm depth and height including loop 26mm

The gold front and back are applied to a base metal frame or sometimes sterling silver.
The supporting frame of the locket and hinge are base metal.
