A striking late Victorian 18ct gold ring, fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1898, featuring a beautiful alternating arrangement of amethyst and peridot gemstones. Each stone is claw‑set in rich yellow gold, framed by elegant scrollwork shoulders that are characteristic of British jewellery design at the end of the 19th century.
The ring measures approximately 4.9mm in height and tapers to 2mm at the back.
