Circa 1900
A charming Victorian bar brooch crafted in 15ct yellow gold, featuring a finely modelled bear perched on a curved branch. The bear is rendered in warm gold tones with textured detailing to suggest fur, evoking the naturalistic whimsy popular in late Victorian and early Edwardian animal jewelry. The branch terminates in a stylised flower set with a vibrant round-cut ruby at its centre, complemented by a single old-cut diamond accent nestled in one petal.
The bar of the brooch measures approximately 45mm in length and 20mm at widest point.
