Antique Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring
15ct Gold Tested
Circa 1840
This is a ring from around 1840, made in rose gold with a silver-topped setting. It features a central emerald surrounded by eight rose-cut diamonds arranged in a circular cluster. Two additional rose-cut diamonds are set into the shoulders, creating a balanced and symmetrical design. The silver mount enhances the brightness of the diamonds, a typical technique of the period. The overall style is refined and understated, reflecting the craftsmanship and materials of early Georgian jewellery.
The face of the ring measures approximately 6mm in height and 12mm in width and the width of the band is approximately 1mm
