Antique 15ct Yellow Gold, Edwardian Blue Enamel, Diamond & Pearl Brooch, Circa 1905
Antique Blue Enamel Pearl & Diamond Brooch
15ct Gold Tested
Circa 1905
This Edwardian brooch, crafted in 15ct gold and dated 6th December 1905, is a beautifully preserved sentimental piece. The front is finished in a rich cobalt blue enamel, creating a smooth, luminous backdrop for the central rose motif formed from rose‑cut diamonds. A border of evenly spaced natural seed pearls frames the quatrefoil silhouette, adding softness and refinement.
The reverse is hand‑engraved “H and D, 6th Dec 1905”, suggesting it was a personal gift — likely marking a romantic or family milestone. The combination of enamel, diamonds, pearls, and warm 15ct gold is entirely characteristic of early 20th‑century craftsmanship and conveys both elegance and sentiment.
The brooch measures approximately 30mm in width and 30mm in height
Weight 7.7g
