Victorian Diamond Pearl Floral Brooch
15ct Gold Stamp
Circa 1880
An elegant late Victorian brooch, oval in form and crafted in richly hued 15ct yellow gold. The central motif is a raised floral cluster composed one central diamond surrounded by four pearls, each delicately set to evoke the softness of petals or buds. The surrounding gold mount is finely chased with scrollwork and softly scalloped edging, lending depth and texture to the composition. The reverse is fitted with a period C-clasp and pin.
The brooch measures approximately 29mm in height and 38mm in width.
Glass at back measures approximately 23mm x 17mm
Total weight 12.1g
