Antique Round Locket
15ct Gold Tested
Circa 1900
A beautiful 15ct gold locket from around 1900, crafted in a striking mix of rose gold and white gold. The centre is rich yellow gold, smooth and warm in tone, while the outer edge is framed in engraved white gold scrollwork that gives the piece its pretty, decorative border.
One side features an old cut diamond set in a starburst a classic late Victorian/Edwardian detail that adds a subtle sparkle and a touch of romance. The contrast of metals, the crisp engraving, and the star set diamond all speak to the refined craftsmanship of the era.
The locket measures approximately 25mm in diameter. Height including loop approximately 36mm
