Antique Bug Pendant
15ct Gold Tested
Circa 1900
A whimsical yet finely crafted fly pendant in 15ct rose gold, dating to the turn of the 20th century. The wings are delicately set with rose-cut diamonds, their soft glimmer lending antique charm and subtle movement. The body is formed from a lustrous baroque pearl, its organic contours echoing the naturalistic motifs favoured in late Victorian and early Edwardian design. A second, smaller pearl completes the composition, adding balance and gentle contrast. Richly toned rose gold provides warmth and depth, enhancing the pendant’s sculptural detail. A characterful jewel that blends entomological fascination with refined artistry.
The pendant measures approximately 20mm in height including loop and 15mm in width.
