Edwardian Diamond Pendant Necklace

18ct Gold & Platinum Tested

Circa 1900

Transport yourself to the elegance of the early 20th century with this exquisite Edwardian-era pendant necklace. A true testament to the "Belle Époque" style, this piece features a delicate openwork design that marries the romanticism of nature with the refined geometry of the period.

The pendant is centred around a graceful floral wreath or garland, intricately set with sparkling natural diamonds. At the crown sits a beautifully detailed articulated bow, allowing the piece to move fluidly with the wearer. A single drop diamond dangles within the centre of the wreath, catching the light with every movement.

Consistent with the finest jewellery of the era, this piece is crafted in 18ct yellow gold and topped with a shimmering layer of platinum. This classic combination was favoured by Edwardian jewellers to enhance the whiteness and brilliance of the diamonds while maintaining the strength of the setting.

The chain measures approximately 18 1/2 Inches in length and 0.9mm in width. The pendant measures approximately 26.5mm in length and 23.5mm in width.

All of our items are either Antique, Vintage or Preloved. They are in used condition and may show some signs of age-related wear, light surface scratches or tarnish.

All of our items have been hand-selected by us and carefully checked over by our specialist jeweller.
