A truly charming and versatile Edwardian era piece, dating to the early 20th century, beautifully crafted in 9ct yellow gold and set with soft violet amethysts and delicate natural seed pearls.
At the centre sits a sparkling round-cut amethyst, surrounded by four matching amethysts arranged in a graceful cross formation. These are framed within an elegant openwork circular design, adorned with finely detailed seed pearl-set floral motifs — a quintessential Edwardian combination symbolising purity, romance, and refinement.
The piece converts effortlessly from pendant to brooch and is presented with a modern 9ct gold twisted link chain, allowing it to be worn and enjoyed immediately. The warm gold setting perfectly complements the lilac tones of the amethysts and the gentle lustre of the pearls.
The pendant measures approximately 28.8mm in diameter. The chain measures 18 inches in length and 1mm in thickness.
