Antique 18ct Yellow Gold, Art Nouveau Diamond Ring

£995.00

Antique Art Nouveau Ring

18ct Yellow Gold Tested

Circa 1900

A beautiful antique Art Nouveau 18ct yellow gold and diamond ring, dating to the early 20th century.

The ring showcases the unmistakable flowing, organic forms characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, with elegant scrolling goldwork framing a striking central cluster of natural old-cut diamonds. The diamonds are arranged vertically through the centre of the design, with additional diamonds set to either side within white gold leaf-like settings.

The combination of warm 18ct yellow gold, bright old-cut diamonds and delicate botanical-inspired detailing creates a wonderfully feminine and distinctive piece.

The ring has a lovely sense of movement, with curling gold motifs and sweeping lines giving it that quintessential Art Nouveau aesthetic. The diamonds have the charm and individuality of antique cuts, with beautifully irregular facets and flashes of light that are quite different from modern brilliant-cut stones.

The face of the ring measures approximately 8.3mm in height, and the width of the band is 2.1mm
