An exquisite and elegant example of Edwardian craftsmanship, this antique 15ct yellow gold collar necklace dates to the early 1900s and embodies the refined romance of the era.
The necklace features a beautifully articulated gold collar chain, leading to a delicate floral centrepiece adorned with luminous seed pearls arranged in a graceful flower motif, flanked by leaf-like accents. Beneath the central flower sits a discreet hook, thoughtfully designed to allow the addition of a small drop pendant or gemstone — perfect for personalising the piece or enhancing it for special occasions.
Finished with a square-shaped barrel clasp, a classic and secure fastening typical of the period, this necklace sits elegantly at the collarbone and layers beautifully or stands alone as a statement of understated antique luxury. A rare and elegant survivor from the Edwardian age!
The pendant measures approximately 15mm in height and 51mm in width, the total length measures approximately 14 1/2 inches, and the chain is 2.5mm in width.
