A stunning and beautifully detailed 1940s platinum diamond ring, showcasing a striking architectural design with wonderful period character.
At the centre are a row of natural emerald-cut diamonds, elegantly arranged in a linear setting and framed by intricate pierced platinum detailing. The emerald cuts create a beautiful contrast against the surrounding smaller natural diamonds, adding both sparkle and sophistication.
The ring features a distinctive slightly domed shape and a knife-edge platinum band, giving the piece a sculptural profile while allowing the elaborate head of the ring to remain the focal point. The delicate milgrain-style detailing and pierced work are typical of the refined craftsmanship associated with mid-century fine jewellery.
