Antique 18ct Gold & Platinum, Edwardian era Sapphire and Diamond ring
Sapphire & Diamond Ring
18ct Gold & Platinum Tested
Circa 1910
A truly exquisite Edwardian era sapphire and diamond ring, crafted in rich 18ct gold and platinum and dating to the early 20th century. This elegant antique ring showcases the refined craftsmanship and romantic design synonymous with the Edwardian period.
At the centre sits a deep blue natural sapphire, beautifully faceted and bezel-set, drawing the eye with its rich colour and timeless appeal. Surrounding the sapphire is a graceful halo of sparkling old-cut diamonds, each hand-set in platinum milgraine settings, creating a soft, glowing brilliance that only antique diamonds can offer.
The ring’s elongated, shield-like shape and delicate openwork details are classic Edwardian, designed to sit beautifully on the hand while remaining refined and wearable. The combination of platinum and gold was a hallmark of the era, allowing for strength, elegance, and intricate detail.
The face of the ring measures approximately 16mm in height and 10.6mm in width.
