A breathtaking statement piece from the Art Nouveau period, this solid 15ct yellow gold bangle is a masterpiece of naturalistic design and tactile goldsmithing.
The front widens gracefully across the wrist, featuring intricate openwork pierced detailing sculpted with cascading bunches of grapes, textured tendrils, and organic vine leaves. The dimensional repoussé and chasing work give the foliage realistic depth, catching the light across contrasting matte and polished gold surfaces.
Constructed in authentic antique 15ct gold—a beloved British gold standard discontinued in the early 1930s—the bangle feels wonderfully substantial on the wrist. The interior rail features a partially rubbed maker’s mark stamped "WALTON & [..]"
It wears comfortably and effortlessly elevates any fine antique collection.
The bracelet measures approximately 14.6mm in width at the front and 9.3mm at the back. The inside measurement is just over 7 1/2 inches.
